Let's Get You Online ~ Fast

Adrian Cauguiran Review

Hi friends,

I just wanted to review about Adrian Cauguiran that is probably popular in his own niche but I’ll let you know on how I stumbled upon him real quick. I don’t know him, have never met him but after observing what he has done and the impact in his own way and the fact that he is 17… it’s amazing and I want to write about Adrian Cauguiran.

But first, I had a client who had an expiring domain and I was asking if he would like to renew. While doing that, I was checking on some whois information and I remembered something about expired domains and domain purchasing.

In my experience, I would usually go to deleteddomains.com once in awhile to check for domains that have tons of backlinks and maybe snag a few so that I can build back links. It’s a good idea to snag domain names that already have SEO on it vs starting a new domain name.

But since deleteddomains is no longer what it used to be, I discovered expireddomains.net and went there just to look. While looking, nothing seemed to appeal to me until I sorted pages by backlinks. Scrolling on the second page, I saw tutgeek.com , it had a Page Rank 1 and about 611 backlinks. Either way, the word GEEK stood out. As I enjoy working with technology and everything techy, I decided to jump on the opportunity to own a geeky domain name plus it had some domain history which is cool.

But as in every domain that gets thrown into a pool of expired domains, I had to check if the site was properly SEOed or if there was any bad SEO done. To my amazement, tutgeek.com was a tech portal for young geeks to upload their videos and basically share all things geek. I also discovered that the owner was a youtube vlogger named kidguru or also known as Adrian Cauguiran, a 17 year old Filipino that resides in Japan now. It’s a pity that he let the domain slip but I picked the domain up for a reason.

Adrian is quite a phenomenon and has achieved personal success at 17. He owns his own PC-Tech business, works on his own time and drives a cool 96′ Mercedes E320, he has several other web businesses that he’s trying to find time to manage but still, pretty amazing. I went bonkers. No, I went bonkers at the fact that he’s matured for a teen entrepreneur who understands business concepts(without a business degree and understands the concept of taking risks at an early age) and somehow managed to start young and fulfill his dreams of becoming an entrepreneur.  At 17, the only thing on my mind was, after high school.. I will be at college but since I enjoyed playing music and singing so I joined Malaysian Idol 2 which I was able to be in the top 100. But that story is for another time.

Anyways: tutgeek.com at expireddomains.net:

And by the way, speaking of domain names, GoDaddy is doing a $3.13 .com domain name deal(one .com only). I don’t know how long it will go for but this is the site if you are interested:

http://thesavings.org/godaddy-5-99-com-domain-registration/ (Click on the $2.95 deal and then it’ll take you to a page where the offer will be displayed.) That site is probably an affiliate for GoDaddy and he’ll get to make some money. Pretty good site that saved me some money.

Anyways, Adrian Caugiran, thank you for being who you are and for being yourself. You may not read this but there are several things I learned from you and I really hope that you get more of your message out there to more people. One of the best things that you’ve done is video blogging and it feels personal. You’ve also inspired me to vlog more.

I purchased Tutgeek.com but because you let it slip, I found you in cyberspace or I would have never met you. So thank you. TutGeek.com will live again although it’ll take on a slightly different direction, it will certainly be tech oriented.

And yes, we only live once, we have nothing to lose and we can go all out and live our dreams.

Cheers!

Elisha
